CORALVILLE, IA, March 27, 2017 -- Cognonto released a new entry page for its Web site today. According to Michael Bergman, Cognonto's CEO, the upgrade was made in order for the company to "run with the cool kids" in terms of commercial appeal.
When Cognonto first released its new Web site toward the end of 2016, it provided a starting Web site that had all of the basics, but no frills. In looking at the competition in the artificial intelligence and semantic technology space, the company decided a snazzier entry page was warranted.
One feature of the site is to use recent AI programs to generate images based on various input visual styles. Cognonto used AI imagery from its own and our own Cognonto logo as the way to generate some of these. The company also announced that it made some other site tweaks as well along the way to releasing this new entry page.
Cognonto (a portmanteau of 'cognition' and 'ontology') exploits large-scale knowledge bases and semantic technologies for machine learning, data interoperability and mapping, and fact and entity extraction and tagging. Cognonto Corporation is privately held and is based in Coralville, Iowa, USA, with offices in Québec City, Québec, Canada.
